Job Description

Here at Company of Cooks we operate all restaurants, bars, events and staff catering at the Royal Opera House, the restaurant and café at the National Portrait Gallery, and are being invited to return to the Royal Academy of Arts in Burlington Gardens after their 250th-anniversary redevelopment. We are excited to be recruiting for a Café Barista Team Member to join us at the Royal Opera House!

You will be:

  • Have barista experience (basic as a minimum)
  • Be friendly, engaging and have high customer awareness
  • Be reliable, great team players with excellent performance in customer service and organization skills
  • Be able to communicate with confidence, with a good standard of English
  • Have a great eye for detail and exemplary personal presentation
  • Be able to adapt to quickly changing situations
  • Show genuine commitment to the job and team
  • Want to gain knowledge and experience in hospitality

Successful applicants WILL enjoy:

  • Starting at £11.05 going up to £11.50 after passing the training quiz or probation. This could be within 2 weeks if you excel!
